Do I Need A Reason?

Mike said to me, “Isn’t everyone looking for something? A fulfilling family, career, life, hobby, it seems we are all searching for something.”
And then he said, “Not me. I got it pretty good.”
He is a simple man which these days signifies something pretty deep. He searched out a career he would love. He has formed a wonderful relationship with his stepson and enjoys thoroughly our youngest and apparently he loves his wife. Good enough he says. This is why I love Mike.
Donovan believes in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. He believes that everyone wants to be his friend and that all people mean well. He is entirely hopeful. This is why I love D.
Beau takes everything with complete ease. Put him in a room full of strangers and at the end of the night he would have a friend or two. He can talk to small children and grandparents in the same breath and he is always Beau whether at school, home, the pool, or onstage casually accepting the best looking award; it is the way he plays sports, socializes and relaxes. He rolls with the punches and always comes out standing up straight. This is why I love Beau.
Now why they love me, I’m not sure you’ll have to ask them that but apparently…they do.

There have been far better financial times for our family. But, since the birth of our son, those financial troubles, matter far less now, than before he was born. When things get tough or stressful for us, we try to remember that no matter how bad the ecomomy gets, they can’t take away our son, or the love that we have for each other. Having a child, put things into perspective for us. Thanks for providing a place for me to share…

you do have a good thing going over there. you put good in and you get to take good out. it’s really just that simple. you guys were just smarter than your average family and able to see the forest for the trees. it’s sad really that more people can’t get it. think of this blog as your own public service campaign.
now, hop on over to my blogaroo and chime in on how you feel about the prospect of me putting noah in a leash. i want to hear what you think.

On the grounds of your children alone, you are the luckiest lady in the world. Your love for your husband and the relationship you two have is a miracle. Lucky indeed.

Do I sense you fishing for the reasons we love you?
